The heist of the century took place over the weekend of February 15-16,2003 During that time, a team of thleves was able to snatch a wildly lucrative haul from the Antwerp Dlamond Center,the largest building In Belgium'diamond district. Over 100 million In diamonds, gold and other jewelry was looted from safety deposit boxes in the building. The crime stunned the public because of how heavily protected all the stolen items were.
